Syn is one of our greatest goddesses. She is our purity, our way to Glasir, the golden-leaved forest. Her blessed name implies the opposites: sin, refusal, and truth. Syn is the “sieve” through which only truth passes, and all sin is left behind. Sin is simply our ignorance, and it leaves us, evaporates, when we perpetually transcend the world of thought. We do not leave sin, sin leaves us. It is not for real anyway.
-Is this how we purify ourselves as to pass through the sin-sieve of Syn?
-Yes. And it is easy. We learn how to nýsa niður, expand mind to Glaðheimar, transcend the world of thoughts, plunge into the purifying waters of Ægir, and out we come so much cleaner than before.
This will amend our life-style to the extent that we see the purpose of our life-spans. (No small thing, man!)
