Goddess Syn the “sin-sieve”,
synjar (refuses) ignorance – ósvinna – tröll – sin (which is all one and the same filth).
Her name conveys to us a lot:
sin/synþ,
synjun (denial/refusal),
sattva/Truth,
and
saðr sannr true
Oh ! no no ! my beloved !
To enter Glasir, the golden-leaved forest, thou must get rid of that sin / ignorance / tröll.
