Dwarfs make Gleipnir, the fetter that holds Fenrir, Fenrisúlfur.
Make Gleipnir from roots of a mountain, sinews of a bear, beard of a woman, spittle of a bird, breath of a fish, the noise of a cat’s steps —  all, obviously coming from Mother Nature, but a bit tricky to obtain – if possible at all for us humans.

What would we do without our dwarfs !!!

Dwarfs are handy creatures about the house. Who are they?
The progeny of Í valdi?
Then, who is Ívaldi?
We do not know. Even his name´s origin/meaning is not agreed upon, not good for Icelanders not to know the true meaning of a name, as names tell half the story.
Perhaps Ívaldi means: the very powerful one.

We should list all the marvellous high-technology contraptions dwarfs make to save the day  –  save our life, save humanity.
