chatter 2   gandreið,  Huginn og Muninn  —  symbolic language of myths and kvæði, allegory in god-spells

i am telling thee one thing:   we are ginnungagap

we are the great void, the womb of the universe, the Fullness, Truth, Eternity, Reality, Divinity.

Óðinn given to Óðinn, my self given to my Self (Hávamál) —    gnoþi seauton (know thyself, know thy Self)

Völundarkviða:  Þar vóru hjá þeim álftarhamir þeirra. Það vóru valkyrjur.
(there by their side their swan-guises were; they were Valkyries)

ch2-2

valkyrja has been an inspiration for arts and stories;

the original and real meaning of this maiden that serves consciousness, Óðinn, is not that she carries away dead men, but the act of transcending  –   fully alive

she is the act of fórn (færa), sacrifice, of the individuality, of the individual, into ginnungagap;

we, so, expand our individual consciousness to infinity

note: Valhöll is an exalted state of consciousness of a man fully alive, cosmic consciousness;

seriously note: these death-concepts of valkyrja and Valhöll are later-times´ confusion (mix-up); death-ideas come from institutions (theocracies) that are not siður at all

cats are heathen symbols for Freyja’s love quietly penetrating all creation;
they are mystical;
Freyja is the eternal power of perpetual creation, symbol of love and care;

Freyja is nothing less than our universe, a space-time foam bubble.

note:  the church hated cats and their symbolic meaning;  they ordered all cats to be killed and tortured, as they were devils incarnated;
cats were mercilessly killed, and those who had cats were said to house incarnated devils, and were burnt alive at the stake;
when cats were killed, rats and mice multiplied, diseases, plagues, epidemic, followed;
that was said to be the church’s God’s revenge for the sins of men;
a great culture was killed, and replaced with theocratic fanatic device for sovereignty, the gaining of power, egoistic purposes

when we have obtained the divine feather-guise, nothing can stick to us, soil us, affect us;

the words álft (a swan) and álfur (an elf) are of the same origin, and bear similar meanings;  in mythical language elves indicate the way to the real treasure within, that what we seek all our life —  the divine treasure —  and swan-guise, álftarhamur, the exalted state of consciousness we gain thereby

but we have to work on it life-span after life-span, i.e. ævi after ævi;

when we were animals we had no human nervous system, Sleipnir;
once born as men we do —  but, alas! —  we behave like animals!  unforgivable for men, so these men cannot bear the name a man!

reiði is anger, öfund is envy and jealousy, ágirnd avarice, sprouting in these pitiable states;
Þjóðvitnir (left) brings the lure of matter, “the mistake of our intellect”, which is taking material (red stuff) as something stable and real;
Óður Hænir Lóður, who bring the gifts of humanity to humans, (right (yellow)) are helpless and disappointed;
the green fence (bottom) is Gymisgarðar, Paradisos, and we think we are out of that, but……

on the picture thou seest what we aim at, but not all men do

gandreið in reality is gaining the swan-guise;

for heathen men gandreið means:  becoming invulnerable, detached from matter, “seeing” the material world as unstable, and “seeing” Reality (ginnungagap) as the only real thing   —   wherefrom the whole creation comes, in which the whole creation is

ch2-9

while we still are in ignorance, ósvinna, we think we see, as our eyes perceive the created matter;

for the enlightened man this is darkness,
even the sunny day that a man in ignorance call brightness, the enlightened man calls living in darkness;

for the enlightened man even the dark night is brightness, because he “sees” Truth

every individual is on his path towards enlightenment  —  too slowly, though, most of us, as we do not know the purpose of life:  which is our spiritual evolution

while we chase material stuff only (kama; top left), and become angry if we do not get all we want (krodha; next), we get blinded and do not think clearly in our rage (sammohah), and this leads to the loss of intellect, loss of Óðinn (buddhinashah) –  Óðinn=buddh

what drives us into this (kama-krodha-sammohah-buddhinashah) is rajo-guna, one of the 3 qualities of nature (the mad red rajas out of bonds);
sattva (white, left) and tamah (green, right) are not in perfect equilibrium with rajo-guna, are they?

ch2-11

Jörmungandur, or perhaps Pegasus, is the exalted stage of a skáld, bard, a man who sees, and makes poems on pure spirituality;
some understand the abyss in sacred poems, but many a man sees words only, and has no “real understanding” of the “real meaning” they are conveying to us

ch2-12

Grágás (in Icelandic means a grey goose, yet has Sanskrit origin) is our law-book;  law should be on the level of Týr, divine, in accordance with the laws of nature, which rule the whole universe in perfect order, the constitution of the universe;

unfortunately, man-made laws and man-made constitutions have flaws;
that happens if the society is on a base level;
the only way to remedy this is to heighten the consciousness of the whole nation;
this we do by transcending the world of matter, Óðinn given to Óðinn, my self given to my Self (Hávamál vísa 138 and on)

Freyja is from the foam (afros, like Arfodita) – a space-time foam bubble (a universe)
Freyja owns a feather-guise  —  of course  — and she so willingly lends it to us (Loki; see Edda poem Þrymskviða), and would do so even if it were of silver or of gold

ch2-15

valkyrja (yagya) and the spear of knowledge (divine wisdom);
she is the fórn (sacrifice) of individual existence for a while, fully alive, into the sacred gap;
we find Glaðheimar (gladness, wideness), and know this, the contact with brahman, to be joy;

this is the path to Valhöll (a higher state of consciousness) for every individual

thou shouldest be very careful about one thing:  it is not enough to refuse the material world, it is not enough to “make a mood” of being non-dependent on matter and circumstances;

the only true way is to become exalted as to see, really see, that matter is unreal, that we are Reality, that there are no bonds  —  no bonds — between the created world and its origin, and that attachment, therefore, is sheer ignorance (ósvinna)

when we start to “see” this, then we are Sága the seeress in Valhöll

this raven guise might not be all too beautiful, but the soul of the enlightened man is pure

Huginn and Muninn are enlightened men

ch2-19

Huginn and Muninn fly free in the sky of consciousness, as Óðinn takes care of them (us when we are yogin and munih in his palace Valhöll —  fully alive and free, free from the bonds of matter)

ch2-20

we are now ridding ourselves of the bonds of matter;

we live as aloof from the material world, even if we work and have ambitions, perform, enjoy, and feel;

only: we take delight in life as we are becoming detached from the binding influences of the objects of the senses, the created world, and we care for all our fellow-men, and want to teach them about the path into our divine essence

Álfadrottning er að beizla gandinn  —  the queen of elves on her vehicle, that is her gandreið, perhaps the same as Sleipnir, our nervous system;

yes, because:  to transcend we use our nervous system, Sleipnir;  elves are the channels inwards;

elf-stories are many in Iceland, and elves are in us as channels, rivers, into the most precious treasure within, álfafjársjóðurinn;
this knowledge irritated the theocratic institution, so men there tried to let us fear the elves;
but we love them

these graceful birds are heathen symbols for an individual (a pure man) having gained the divine attribute of rising above the bonds of material life

we wear Freyja’s feather-guise in the sky of consciousness, Glaðheimar.
