Big Bang and ragnarök
is our biggest cycle – probably half way through now, as Brimir or Ókólnir brewed ale some 13.8 billion years ago, if I remember correctly. Good ale.

Ymir is the sounding one. All is sounding, all is sound, and very healthily sound.

´Whole´ and ´sound´ indicate perfect health, and this is how everything should be in this noisy beautiful symphony.

We have Aurgelmir  (aur from Latin aurum, some say), and Bergelmir (ber (a bear)) –  and gelmir means the sounding.

Hymir Gymir Brimir Ymir Ókólnir Burr Borr Bestla Óðinn and then our whole universe as result of all that – as we so rationally can understand.

New gods take over after ragnarök, when brothers have fought and great powers like fermion and bosons have re-emerged to the un-broken symmetry. They will be sons of Þór: Móði and Magni, sons of Óðinn: Víðarr Váli also, new generation for a new universe for us, Líf and Lífþrasir,  who overlive.

We also have some ships which come in handy, like Skíðblaðnir and Naglfar. This is quite a journey for us from our old collapsed universe to a new one. But we look forward while we enjoy our present one.
