The trouble about our ignorance, ósvinna, is, that we do not see it.
It is of the same nature as is brain-washing. We have no idea of the blinding effects of ignorance. We think we are normal, but the truth is that we are not, i.e. not until we become enlightened.
First then we can bear the name “a man”.
Óðsmál is given to us to make us aware of this drastic mistake of ours.
As long as we are not perfectly pure and stainless, stress-less, we cannot bear the name “man”. Only by purifying ourselves — and that we do by nýsa niður, transcend — can we see what we should have been aiming at all our life-spans.
Goddess Syn is our sin-sieve:
– Of course we can enter Glasir, but not with all that sin, only when we become pure, can we enter Glasir the golden leaved forest.

Óðinn Vili Véi – the curiosity process – overshadows Reality.

pradhjaparadha is the mistake of the intellect;
on my drawing: rugl means disorder and nonsense, regla means orderliness and rule. Reglan comes from ginnungagap, the perfection, ruglið from that universe-outcome.
Do we realize that our beloved intellect leads us astray form ourselves, pure bliss?
And that our beloved senses cannot bring what the mind most dearly longs for: bliss?
And that our brain makes a world out of Gungnir, something looking very real to us, but which overshadows the unseen Reality?

What a dilemma!

Some wrong imprinting has made our blindness even worse than we manage to make it ourselves.

Mjöllnir is to batter our tröll, ignorance. That is done by transcending the world of duality.
The worst about brainwashing is that we know not of it.
The worst about ignorance is that we claim to see clearly.

Ignorance is the cause of the blindness not to see ignorance.
Causes that aatman आत्मन् , the real I myself, appears to be jííva जीव individual soul.
Seeing aatman, the real us, to be only our individual soul, jiiva.
This begins when we make Sleipnir (our nervous system) as an embryo in mother’s womb.

I see thee and thou seest me, can we then be one?

Do I see who I am?
