Sleipnir - our human nervous system-Is Sleipnir really an eight-legged pony?
-We shall learn to understand the symbolic language of myths.
The 8 is shortening for 192. This is our human nervous system, our “vehicle”, to Ásgarður.
We should know that our goal is Valhöll – fully alive.

Pitch for Óðinn,  sons,  Sleipnir,  Valhöll 1 min 29 sec:

The text for 1 minute pitch Óðinn, sons, Sleipnir, Valhöll (above):
15  Óðinn, sons, Sleipnir, Valhöll

Now what is Óðinn? Can you explain? We might try: a main god in forni siður. But, mind you, we have to un-learn all the imprinted wrongs and misinterpretations. Óðinn has many many names, which come according to his role in each myth or poem. And he has many sons whose roles are diverse according to each myth and poem.
In the context ÓðinnViliVéi Óðinn is knowledge, looking for knowledge in pure knowledge.
Do you know that Sleipnir is our human nervous system giving us a ride to Ásgarður, to Glaðheimar, so that we eventually, preferably in this present life-span, reach Valhöll, the state of enlightenment of a living man?
We reach Valhöll fully alive. And forni siður is all about our peace – even if you might have heard something else, i.e. these later-time lousy imprinting of wrongs.
Peace prevailed where æsir went over lands. See (google) the Maharishi Effect, and try to understand intellectually – to begin with.

More to ponder on:

* Æsir as men are said to be god-like, and invincible, and peace prevails wherever they stay
* what would this imply in our context of invincibility of the enlightened ones?
or
* would these be embroidered old stories, made up for sake of embellishment?
* note: actually, the listeners could only make out of them what their state of consciousness allowed for;
* during our dark ages, our forefathers’ knowledge and wisdom seemed to have got lost, or at least was hidden, and it was drastically mal-treated, deliberately and by ignorance
* but now the knowledge is all here for us – here and now – to be profoundly understood, — re-discovered in its full glory
* is it somehow typical, that those who are in the greatest need for the wisdom are the ones who claim it to be irrelevant — olden junk only?
* what will save the situation is, perhaps, the fact that when we “imbibe a little drop of understanding” then immense inner width opens up and the desire to understand more and more, deeper and deeper, is initiated in us?
* the ones who did not even care about our olden junk, now, all of a sudden, want to learn how to nýsa niður,
* thereby “the little drop”, the taste of bliss, automatically impels them to want to understand all
* be careful about all the power you feel when you start to nýsa niður, as not to take on too much work in your lightness fitness optimism, as we might have no time for our practice because of promised work
* know and practice correctly the delicate technique to transcend, and do not disturb the automatic flow of mind towards greater happiness with any expectations or thoughts about it
* if thoughts come during transcendence, see them as air-bubbles which rise when we dive into Ægir — not of any concern of ours —
* the thoughts that come during the practice of nýsa niður, indicate release of deep-rooted stresses in Sleipnir to have occurred, and vanished
* what about the symbolic language of Sleipnir the horse?
* examples:  1) a vehicle through the 8-fold Nature?  2) some delicate power tamed to be of the greatest use for us
* 192 in our nervous systems become 8 legs
* what about the name Sleipnir which means he who is slippery, or he who glides on without any obstacles or hindrances?
* do we understand the highly evolved human nervous system, and its capabilities?
* we shall understand, and be really concerned about, that our ability to nýsa niður, to transcend, if not used, could die out
— use it or lose it —   that would be the greatest misfortune of earth!
* we shall have to culture our priceless human nervous system
* we should revive the act of nýsa niður / transcend sphere of thought

Til umhugsunar:

* goðumlík og ósigrandi,
* fylgir okkur friður hvar er við förum um lönd
* hvað táknar þetta, svona í okkar samhengi?
* er þetta bara gömul sögn, kannski uppspunnin, svo fegruð af sögumanni?
— nei ekki aldeilis! —
* endilega látið hugsanir sem koma meðan á iðkun stendur sem vind um eyru þjóta
* þegar maður stingur sér, koma gjarnan loftbólur, og við erum ekkert með athygli á þeim, því þetta bara gerist, loftbólurnar stíga upp eðlilega;
* sama með hugsanir sem koma meöan við nýsum niður; þær eru eru streitulos;
* vegna ertingar á Sleipni —við að losnar um streitu í kroppnum og taugakerfinu– fer heilinn að hugsa
*  þetta bara gerist og er eins náttúrulegt og loftbólur sem stíga upp í vatni
* hvað er svona snjallt við að hafa, í táknmálinu, Sleipni sem hest?
dæmi:  * fararskjóti um 8-falda náttúruna,
*vilji og hæfileiki taminn til að gera gagn
* 192 (sjá taugakerfið) er 8-fættur Sleipnir
* hvað er sniðugt við nafnið hans sem þýðir sleipur, eða sá sem smýgur hindrunarlaust?
* skiljum við háþróað mannlegt taugakerfi og hæfileika þess
* við skulum ígrunda alvarlega, að hæfileikinn til að nýsa niður gæti glatast frá mannkyninu ef við notum hann ekki
* það teldist hrapalegt slys og úrkynjun
* ómetanlega hæfileika mannlegs taugakerfi þarf að þjálfa og nýta
