Maharishi Effect in Norse mythology – waging peace:

Hvar er þeir fóru um lönd fylgði þeim friður og þóttu þeir goðumlíkir
where-ever Æsir went over lands peace prevailed, and they were said to be god-like

Hvar er hatur vex með hildings sonum þat má ek bæta brátt
where-ever hatred grows among the sons of king that I can sooth immediately

Peace is only to be found in pure consciousness.  When we transcend, we contact pure consciousness within. Here we radiate peace.
